At this year’s WohnZukunftsTag, the main congress of the housing industry in Germany, innogy and lemonbeat presented themselves to a top-class audience as a strong team in the joint marketing of future-oriented, digital solutions for real estate management.
Organised by the Federal Association of German Housing and Real Estate Companies (GdW), well over 300 representatives of the industry met again this year at the Tempodrom Berlin to discuss innovations and future developments.
Holger Scheffler, Head of Housing Industry at innogy and Oliver Klimek, Head of Verticals of the IoT-subsidiary lemonbeat, presented a cost-optimized (retrofit-)solution for the intelligent collection of current consumption data such as electricity, gas, heat and water as well as the monitoring and control of central heating systems and pumps in the building cellar.
“Our technology enables property operators to reduce operating costs, make targeted investment decisions and develop new business models through detailed data collection,” says Oliver Klimek. “With this solution we aroused great interest among the public”, Holger Scheffler comments on his impressions of the event and adds: “After the good technological preparatory work on the part of Lemonbeat, we are now also in a first-class sales position and can offer the housing industry a marketable B2B solution”.
